Dr. Goldberg likes to go by “Dr. Kate.” Drawn to pediatric dentistry by the opportunity to positively impact a child’s oral health and confidence, Dr. Kate has her Masters in Public Health (MPH) and Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in affiliation with Seattle Children’s Hospital.
While at the University of Washington, she received the Center for Excellence in Maternal and Child Health Traineeship Award and Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation Resident Grant for her research on the Oral Health of Immigrant Children.
Prior to that, she attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree in Biology and Society, the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, and the University of California in Los Angeles and San Francisco for General Practice Residency training.
Upon graduation, she received the Kramer Award of Excellence for “scholarship, character, and service to humanity” and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Award recognizing her as the graduating student with the most promise in the field.
Dr. Kate is a former NCAA Division I gymnast and diver. She loves chatting about these sports and how great the Pacific Northwest is.
